Selling stolen goods
Turn what you took into cash, jewellery and gold at the pawn shop, Gruppe Sechs cargo with the G6 insider.
The pawn shop
Strawberry PAWN & JEWELRY. Press Y at the counter: opening the menu tips out of your bag everything the shop would buy, and it buys what you are holding in your hands as well as what is in your pockets (see Carrying things). Guns, grenades and the like stay in the bag. The pawn shop never buys a bag itself, only what’s in it, and it skips the phone the walkthrough gives you.

Hot pieces. For half an hour after a job, a piece from it is hot: it sells for 55% of the usual offer, and about one time in three the shop tips off the police, with your name if your face was showing.
Haggling. One try per item: your chance is 45%, plus 2% per Robbing level, up to 80%. Win and the price goes up 10 to 25%; lose and he drops his price 15%, or now and then refuses that item for the visit.
A pawn shop that’s been robbed is shut and buys nothing until it reopens.
The G6 insider
A Gruppe Sechs guard on a smoke break out by Grapeseed; his faded marker shows only when you’re near. Press Y on him (civilians only; anyone in a uniform is told to walk on). His menu opens when you’re next to him.
- He buys all your sealed G6 cargo at once, from your pockets and your bag: its full worth for a clean piece, 85% for one with a dye pack, and 10 Robbing XP a piece, with a free tip on the next truck if he knows one. He buys cargo you’re holding in your hands too.
- A tip costs $1,500: a 60 m circle near the next truck’s stop, with roughly how long until it arrives. It goes once the truck has been and gone, the run is lost, or 10 minutes after it was due. He only gives a tip for a truck you aren’t robbing and don’t already have a tip on, and you can hold at most five tips at once.
